Rachel Simon, TLMFT

Therapy with me is casual and direct, with a healthy dose of humor. Whatever you're walking through, I work to build a space where you can heal, find meaning, and grow. I've experienced firsthand the hope and restoration that can come through therapy, and I'm passionate about helping others also learn more about who they are, where they come from, and where they want to go.

Therapist Experience

Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in corporate consulting and the creative production industry, giving me an understanding of high stress work environments and the courage it takes to make life changes.

In my clinical experience, I’ve worked with a diverse range of individuals (16+), couples, and families to address anxiety, depression, relationship issues, premarital counseling, and more.

I have also been trained as a Prepare/Enrich certified facilitator, Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 therapist, and Cognitive Processing Therapy Web 2.0 clinician.

Therapy Interests

My areas of clinical focus include premarital and marital couples, life transitions, anxiety, depression, communication and boundaries issues, self-esteem, and grief. My approach to therapy integrates elements of Bowenian family systems therapy, restoration therapy, Gottman method couples therapy, and internal family systems therapy.
