Trent Perry, LPC-MHSP
I strive to make people feel heard, safe, and comforted. I am deeply passionate about supporting adults who have experienced trauma, whether recent or rooted in their past, and are feeling burdened by the way trauma symptoms interfere with their daily lives. My approach is centered on creating a compassionate and holistic environment, utilizing evidence-based treatments such as EMDR and internal family systems therapy to target specific trauma experiences and promote adaptive healing. I am dedicated to guiding clients through the complexities of their life, relationship, or mental health struggles, helping them reclaim a sense of safety, connection, and well-being.

Counselor Experience
I have gained extensive therapy experience by working in a variety of settings, including substance use clinics, private practices, and community mental health centers. This diverse background has allowed me to work with individuals facing a wide range of presenting problems, from trauma and anxiety to addiction and complex mental health challenges. In addition to individual therapy, I have also facilitated numerous group therapy sessions, helping clients build support systems, develop coping skills, and gain deeper insights into their healing process. My broad experience has shaped my ability to adapt my approach to each client’s unique needs, ensuring they receive the most effective and personalized care.
Counseling Interests
In addition to trauma, I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, perfectionism, life transitions, and family conflict. I approach each presenting problem with an individualized focus, using evidence-based standards of care that draw from EMDR, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and DBT. By integrating these modalities, I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, fostering meaningful and lasting change.
